Lead Pastor
Cedric Lauchner's personal mission is to love God, love family, love people, preach and teach the gospel, and plant churches. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Cedric has consistently demonstrated his passion for God and family. In 1997, he married his wife, Chardel, with whom he has shared 28 years of marriage. Together, they are the proud parents of four children-three of whom are triplets: Elijah (29), Joshua, Journey, and Daniel (15).
The Call
In 2015, Cedric felt a divine calling to plant Dream Church in the Springfield neighborhood of Jacksonville, Florida. This call was affirmed through a pivotal encounter at a conference in Tampa, where he was introduced to urban apologetics and the vision of church planting. Shortly after, while working in Springfield and driving along Main Street, Cedric experienced a deep passion for the area and its people. His wife, Chardel, later confirmed their shared vision, saying Springfield reminded her of home. Thus, the DREAM was born.
